Carpet cleaning: rubber/3D

For all-weather rugs and liners, a common recommendation from manufacturers is to use mild detergent and warm water , scrub with a brush, rinse well, and allow to air dry.

Step by step

  1. remove and shake

  2. rinse

  3. mild detergent + medium brush

  4. rinse thoroughly

  5. Air dry (avoid returning to the car while wet)

Anti-odor tip: complete drying is half the battle.

Carpet (textile) rug cleaning

  • vacuum well (main)

  • Use foam/fabric cleaner when necessary.

  • A soft brush and damp cloth can be used to remove excess.

  • Leave to dry with doors open / in a well-ventilated place.

Cleaning seat covers

Here, the manufacturer's label dictates the outcome, but as a general rule:

  • Wash gently.

  • Avoid harsh chemicals/solvents.

  • to ensure they are completely dry before reassembling (prevents mold/odors)

(The same logic applies to carpets: cleaning with neutral detergent and thorough drying tends to be the safest and most repeatable option).
