Salicru's UBT series batteries are powerful and compact energy storage devices based on rechargeable lead-acid systems, especially suitable for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) applications and other security systems requiring reliable, high-quality power backup. The Salicru UBT battery line includes 4.5 Ah, 7 Ah, 9 Ah, 12 Ah, and 17 Ah models, all at 12 V. The sulfuric acid electrolyte is absorbed by separators and plates, which are then immobilized. They are designed with gas recombination technology that eliminates the need for regular water addition by controlling the evolution of hydrogen and oxygen during charging. The battery is completely sealed and airtight, so it requires no maintenance and can be used in any position. If the battery is accidentally overcharged, producing hydrogen and oxygen, special one-way valves allow the gases to be expelled to prevent internal overpressure.
