The StarTech IES1G52UP12V Switch is an industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for environments demanding high reliability and flexibility in mission-critical networks. It features six ports for device connection: five RJ45 ports, four of which offer PoE+ with up to 30W of power per port , and two slots for SFP modules that allow uplinks or connectivity for devices without PoE. Its compact design, with an IP-30 certified enclosure, allows for wall or DIN rail mounting, ideal for industrial, transport, or solar power installations, thanks to its wide power supply range of 12V to 56V DC , eliminating the need for additional high-voltage power supplies. Its switching capacity reaches 12 Gbit/s with support for Gigabit Ethernet speeds (10/100/1000 Mbps) and full-duplex communication. It supports IEEE 802.3, 802.3af, and 802.3at standards, ensuring compatibility with PoE/IP devices such as cameras, sensors, or Wi-Fi access points. This model offers redundancy with dual power input and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 75°C , adapting to extreme environmental conditions. It also has vibration, impact, and drop resistance certification according to EN 60068 standards, in addition to an aluminum heat sink that improves passive cooling, ensuring long durability with an MTBF exceeding 600,000 hours .
